Mega Doggie Daycation
The third and final event of the festival is called “Mega Doggie Daycation" and it will be held on March 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the shoreline of the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther Drive. Volunteers from Dallas Animal Services and people from the community will take pets from the shelter for walks in an effort to increase the pets' chances of being adopted. The meeting point will be at the shoreline of the Bath House Cultural Center.
The walks provide the pets with exercise and socialization, which helps them become more adoptable. Nova Pangea will invite the community to join us and walk together for a great family free event.
Pet Adoption storytelling Open mic
The second event will be held at the Fretz Park Branch Library on February 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. The library is located at 6990 Belt Line Road. Nova Pangea will invite the community to join them at the stage inside of the library’s black box theater to share their adoption stories while the band’s musicians create and improvise the perfect music score to enhance the emotional stories by pet owners. This event will also feature another pet adoption rally.
The library will also designate a permanent “Vive Pawisitive” special shelf for books about animal adoption, care, and animal training. This will provide the community with resources to learn how to live in harmony with their pets. The event is free and family friendly.

Love songs for paws
Love Songs for Paws is the kick-off event. It will be held at Sidecar Social, located at 5100 Belt Line Road in Dallas. It will take place on February 15, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. This is the perfect event to celebrate universal love on Valentine's Day weekend.
The event includes a concert by Nova Pangea and an adoption event hosted by Dallas Animal Services. It will feature a special selection of songs that celebrate the unconditional love between humans and pets. These ‘Love Songs For Paws’ will inspire responsible pet adoption, based on the four festival values. What makes this concert unique is that for the first time ever, the audience will experience the results of Nova Pangea’s new song arrangements. The band will tweak iconic songs that were written to express love between humans into new versions as if they were written from the point of view of a dog or cat, or from a pet owner to his/her furry friend, creating new love stories that will seal the bond between humans and their pets.
